Twenty Years of Objects with a Soul
A growing legacy of beauty, emotion, and craft
As we open a new chapter, we pause to look back.
Founded in 2005 by Elad Yifrach, L’OBJET was born from a desire to elevate the everyday—to create objects that bring people together, awaken emotion, and transform ritual into art. Rooted in craftsmanship and guided by intuition, the House has evolved into a universe where design, fragrance, and culture converge.
This is not a story of nostalgia, but of continuity. A legacy still unfolding.
As we begin a new year—and celebrate twenty years of creation—we honor the moments, collaborations, and collections that shaped who we are today, while embracing all that is yet to come.
2005 — The Beginning
L’OBJET is founded by Elad Yifrach as an intuitive, emotional response to design. Born from a desire to celebrate life’s rituals, the House sets out to transform everyday objects into vessels of beauty, memory, and connection—where craftsmanship meets imagination.
2005 — Bergdorf Goodman
Bergdorf Goodman becomes L’OBJET’s very first retail partner. More than a point of sale, it marks an early recognition of the House’s singular voice and establishes a relationship rooted in trust, creativity, and shared values—one that endures to this day.
2007 — Aegean
The Aegean dinnerware collection is introduced, inspired by Mediterranean sea, ancient forms, and the poetry of the table. Today, available in white, gold, and platinum, it stands as L’OBJET’s longest-running dinnerware collection and a pure expression of timeless design.
2007 — Entering the World of Fragrance
The first L’OBJET candle, Coral, is unveiled. Sculpted in bisque porcelain, adorned with hand-painted coral and 24-carat gold, it signals the House’s first exploration into scent—where fragrance becomes an object, and an object becomes an emotion. In 2022, the Coral candle is revisited and subtly transformed. Its design is refined with a more contemporary sensibility, honoring the original while embracing a modern expression—proof that true icons evolve without losing their soul.
2008 — Harrods, London
L'OBJET opens its first flagship boutique in London with Harrods. Set inside one of the world's most iconic destinations, the space establishes a long-term presence with a distinctive, discerning clientele, marking a pivotal moment in the House's retail and global journey.
2011 — Fortuny: A First Collaboration
L’OBJET unveils its first collaboration—and Fortuny’s very first ever collaboration with another brand. Invited into the legendary Venetian archives, Elad Yifrach imagines a complete lifestyle collection inspired by historic textiles, light, and craftsmanship, translating Fortuny’s heritage into dinnerware, décor, and fragrance.
2012 — Malachite
The Malachite collection debuts as part of the Cabinet of Curiosities. With its impactful green motif, it quickly became a signature of the House. Still a bestseller today, Malachite embodies L’OBJET’s belief that good design transcends time and trends.
2018 — The Apothecary Collection
The House deepens its exploration of scent with the launch of the Apothecary collection. Hand soaps, lotions, and bath rituals elevate daily gestures into moments of indulgence, bringing fragrance closer to the body—and closer to the soul.
2019 — Haas Brothers
Unveiled at Art Basel Miami at the Bass Museum, the Haas Brothers collection introduces 65 pieces of functional art infused with humor, fantasy, and surrealism. This collaboration marks a turning point, affirming L’OBJET’s place at the intersection of art, design, and emotion.
2022 — Madison Avenue, New York
2023— Paris Boutique
2023 — Eau de Parfum
2024 – PRISM
2025 — London Flagship Boutique
